Kusum Sarovar I

What makes Kusum Sarovar a must-see on every tourist itenerary is the peaceful serenity that surrounds this place. In spite of being en-route for every pilgrim circumventing the Govardhan mountain, this place continues to be ignored due to its minor religious significance. This photograph shows the chhatri, or canopy, built in memory of Maharaja Suraj Mal of Bharatpur after he died in 1763.
