The Municipal Corporation Building houses the offices of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Construction began on December 9, 1884, with the laying of the foundation stone by the then Viceroy of India, Lord Ripon and completed in 1893. The design of the building is based on the Gothic Revival style, presented by Frederick Williams Stevens and is known for its 255 feet tall tower.
