Spandan, An Art Beat - Texity Systems Premises
We at Texity held an exhibition of various articles, including wall art, jewellery, and bonsais in December 2007. All proceeds of the exhibition were contributed to the aid of Eklavya, a school for underpriviledged children.
The idea for the exhibition first arose in the mind of Swati Jalnapurkar, our director. From there on the entire team at Texity contributed in several ways to put together the exhibition by preparing articles for sale and organising the location.
I came up with the idea of creating light paintings a day before the deadlines for the photography contributions. We stayed up through most of the night preparing three pictures. The photos went through some post-processing in order to achieve the final effect. More details on the process can be seen here.
