Simplicity — Archived from August 2009
Creative inspiration has been so scarce for the past few months that at times there have been times when I contemplated putting this website to rest too. I have been lax at adding new content and whatever meagre offerings I do present, are not satisfying enough for me. The problem is manifold because of the nature of my website that include a photograph and an essay. But a picture without some words would be incomplete, and hence, not worth anybody's time to view.
But that is the most frustrating part about artistic pursuits. Quality work happens only when the artist is in the zone and left undisturbed to work his craft. And done long enough, magic occurs and simple bits fall into place for a truly magnificent result. I await for that day again, but until then, I hope to continue practising with the basics.
