Silence — Archived from February 2008
Every once in a while I enter a phase of exploration. New horizons beckon at me - irresistable in their own demure manner. And I succumb to them.
This picture came out of such a moment. Having recently purchased a new bicycle, I was having a ball riding around Pune and exploring new places. There was so much to be seen - all mundane for the seasoned commuters here. But for my eyes it was a sight to feast upon and an experience to write home about.
The view at Holkar Bridge, a rather troublesome stretch for most motorists, is ignored by them because they are preoccupied with the road. But by getting off the bicycle and walking along the narrow pedestrian walk, I was able to appreciate the beauty that the view presented on that cold winter morning.
