This picture was taken during the fag end of the monsoon season of 2005. And it seems like an entirely different age now.
Back then, I had wanted a picture to adorn my room, when we moved out of Mumbai to another city, far from here. The picture was going to be decorative in my staid style, as well as a reminder of my hometown.
The year has rushed by in a hurry and brought in its wake a raft of changes - not in the least, my tying the knot with Ami last December. It's only my picture taking that helps me keep a running record of the year, so that I can be sure that I wasn't asleep while the world whizzed me by. And when I look at pictures such as this one, its like turning back to a page in my memory book which I forgot.
